Privacy notice
Short version: we use what you send us to answer your enquiry and to make your order. We do not sell it, and we do not send marketing unless you ask for it.

Who is responsible

What we collect and why
- Enquiry details — your name, email, and optionally company, phone, country and delivery date, together with the specification and any artwork you upload. We use these to prepare your quotation and, if you order, to make and ship the goods.
- Correspondence — emails and messages you send us, kept with the order record.
- Technical data — the web server records the IP address and browser of each request, which is ordinary server logging and is used to keep the site working and to block abuse.
Legal basis
For visitors in the European Union and the United Kingdom, we rely on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract — when we answer an enquiry, and on the contract itself once you place an order. We do not ask for consent for this, because consent you could not meaningfully refuse would not be a fair basis.
Who else sees it
- Our email provider, which carries the message.
- The hosting provider that runs this website.
- The courier, for the address on a shipment, and customs authorities where the law requires it.
Nobody else. We do not sell or rent your details, and we do not pass a customer's artwork to anybody outside the order it belongs to.
Transfers outside Europe
We are in China, so an enquiry sent to us leaves the European Economic Area by definition. If you need a written transfer arrangement such as standard contractual clauses for your own compliance file, ask and we will sign one.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become orders: two years, then deleted. Order records and approved artwork: kept while you remain a customer, because reorders need the original file, and for the period Chinese accounting law requires. Ask us to delete anything earlier and we will, except where we are required to keep it.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to sales@emblem.cn and we will answer within one month. If you are in the EU or UK and you are not satisfied, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking cookies and carries no advertising or social media trackers. That is why there is no cookie banner — there is nothing to consent to. If we ever add analytics, it will be a tool that stores nothing on your device.
